Cutasept® F

The colorless Cutasept® F is an alcohol-based skin antiseptic that has a rapid onset of action and a broad spectrum of activity. The excellent long-term effect offers optimal patient protection for all invasive procedures.

Listing:

Cutasept F: Active ingredient: propan-2-ol. Composition: 100 g of solution contain: Active ingredient: propan-2-ol 63.0 g, corresponds to 72% by volume. Excipients: Benzalkonium Chloride, Purified Water. Areas of application: skin disinfection before punctures, injections and surgical interventions. Surgical and hygienic hand disinfection. Contraindications: Do not use in the immediate vicinity of the eyes. Incompatibility with ingredients. When used properly, Cutasept F can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Side effects: Slight, diffuse skin irritation is common. Contact allergic reactions can occur. Warning: There is insufficient experience with the treatment of infants and small children. In these cases, use may only be made after particularly strict indications and under medical supervision. Benzalkonium chloride can cause skin irritation. No skin wetting under anemic cuffs. In the case of incision foils, wait for complete drying. Only use electrical devices after they have dried out. Avoid accumulations on the patient bed. Do not bring into contact with open flames. Keep away from sources of ignition. If the preparation is used as intended, there is no risk of fire or explosion. If the solution comes into contact with the eyes, the open eyes should be washed for a few minutes with running water. After the disinfectant has been spilled, the following measures must be taken: Immediately absorb the liquid, dilute with plenty of water, ventilate the room and remove sources of ignition. Flash point according to DIN 51755: 21 ° C. Flammable. Any refilling may only take place under aseptic conditions (sterile bench).
