Mandatory text according to § 4 Heilmittelwerbegesetz (HWG): Name of the drug: OpSept hand antiseptic 70 ml 2-propanol and 0.1 ml butane-1,3-diol per 100 ml solution for use on the skin. Substance or indication group, mode of action: Ready-to-use, alcoholic skin antiseptic. Bactericidal (including Mycobacterium tuberculosis) and fungicidal. Limited virucidal activity according to the RKI recommendation, Federal Health Gazette 01-2004. The active ingredients 2-propanol and butane-1,3-diol work against bacteria (including mycobacteria), fungi and many viruses. The effectiveness of OpSept Hand Antiseptic against viruses includes enveloped viruses (classification: "limited virucidal") *. * Tested against test viruses BVDV (surrogate virus for hepatitis C virus) and vaccinia virus. According to the current state of knowledge, the results allow conclusions to be drawn about the effectiveness against other enveloped viruses, e.g. Hepatitis B virus, HI virus. Areas of application: For hygienic and surgical hand disinfection. Contraindications: OpSept must not be used if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients. Do not use on the mucous membrane or around the eyes. Interactions: None known. Warning: OpSept hand antiseptic contains lanolin and fragrances that can cause allergic reactions. Application errors and overdose: There are no known cases of overdose. Side effects: Skin irritations such as redness and a slight burning sensation, as well as contact allergic reactions are possible. How should OP-Sept be stored? Do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the container. The expiry date refers to the last day of the month. Keep this medicine out of the reach and sight of children! Composition: 100 ml solution for use on the skin contains: Active ingredients: 2-propanol 70 ml, butane-1,3-diol 0.1 ml. Other ingredients: Purified water, lanolin-poly (oxyethylene), perfume oil.
