The barbell piercing is available in different strengths, depending on the place of use, we offer jewelry in 1.0 mm up to 10 mm. Piercings with a thickness of 1.2 or 1.6 mm are usually used for the first use.
Barbells with a thickness of 1.6 mm: this jewelery is mostly used for tongue piercing, ear piercing or in the genital area.
Micro barbells with a thickness of 1.0 and 1.2 mm are mostly used for piercings on the ear, the face or for intimate jewellery.
Surgical steel 316L ASTM F-138 corresponds to the directive 2004/96/EG of the Commission of September 27, 2004 and may therefore also be used for the first application.
