The colorless kodan® tincture forte is a ready-to-use, alcohol-based skin antiseptic that has a rapid onset of action and a broad spectrum of action. The excellent long-term effect of at least 24 hours offers optimal patient protection during all invasive procedures.

100 g solution contains: Medicinally active ingredients: 2-propanol (Ph.Eur.) 45.0 g, 1-propanol (Ph.Eur.) 10.0 g, biphenyl-2-ol 0 .20g. Other ingredients: hydrogen peroxide solution 30% (Ph.Eur), purified water

Special information:

For external use on intact skin. Keep medicines out of the reach of children. In case of accidental eye contact with kodan® Rinse tincture forte colorless immediately with plenty of water for several minutes with the eyelids open. kodan® Due to the high alcohol content, tincture forte colorless should not be used on premature babies and newborns with immature skin (e.g. limited skin barrier function). Flammable. Do not bring into contact with flames or switched on electrical heat sources. When using thermocautery or other electrical devices, ensure that you dry sufficiently.
After opening the medicine, do not use it for longer than 12 months, but not beyond the expiry date stated on the packaging.
If used before glucose testing (e.g. hemogluco sticks), allow the preparation to dry thoroughly to avoid any possible impairment of the measurement results.
When using incision films, ensure that they dry sufficiently before sticking the film on so as not to impair the adhesion.
